Next up was Charlie on the distinguished ‘DALIBHUNGA MANDELLA,’ who is not just a sturdy competitor but also a living legend, marking his 11th year on the team. The 25-year-old Mandela proved age is just a number as he delivered a captivating performance, earning a spirited fourth place in a competitive U17 Equitation class. Charlie’s respect for his senior partner made this ride one to remember.
Penny had the honour of riding a stunning 4-year-old hunter for Team Torrens, displaying golden potential for a bright future in the sport. The young horse really shone in the arena, achieving two impressive third-place finishes. It was a privilege for Penny to be entrusted with such a promising prospect, and we wish Team Torrens the very best as they develop this talented young equine athlete. The excitement surrounding this young horse was palpable, and we look forward to seeing what the future holds for Team Torrens and this cracking horse.
